Nightly Skincare Routine for Acne-Prone Skin | Featuring Alba Botanica
Happy October everyone! I’m SO happy it’s finally starting to feel (a little) like fall here in Phoenix. It’s been cooler and cloudy, we’ve even had some thunderstorms here and there. I know some of you probably think I’m crazy for loving this type of weather, but we do not get it often enough here in Phoenix so I am livin for it.
Today’s blog post is all about my current nightly skincare routine! I’m so excited to share this post with you all because honestly, just about a month ago I was in no position to share a skincare routine of any kind (my skin was for sure struggling).
I don’t get acne all that often, but when I do, it hits kind of hard. It’s especially hard to get rid of because I have sensitive skin so I can’t use most products that people swear by because of certain harsh ingredients. Thankfully, I have finally found my holy grail acne banning skincare products, Alba Botanica®’s Acnedote™ line.
Alba Botanica® is so special because they are vegetarian, cruelty-free, biodegradable, botanically-based, and free of parabens + synthetic fragrances. Their Acnedote™ line uses plant-based ingredients to gently address problematic skin. The entire line includes a cleanser, on-the-go towelettes, a scrub, astringent, oil-free moisturizer, a peel, and spot treatments.
I use the Acnedote™ Face and Body Scrub every night before bed and then follow up with the Acnedote™ Pimple Patches if needed. These patches are genius and I am OBSESSED. I just put these clear patches on any problem areas and then go to bed, and when I wake up the zits are either very reduced in size or practically gone.
I also use the Acnedote™ Clearing Gel Peel once a week. This peel is made with active fruit acids that help dry up blemishes, while 1% Salicylic Acid and Willow Bark Extract get rid of acne-causing bacteria.
These products have honestly saved my skin! I bring them with me whenever I’m out of the house for the night because I know I’ll regret skipping my routine. I know you guys will love this line as much as I do. Click here to learn more!
