3 Steps To Naturally Thicker Brows
As we all know, back in the day it was cool to have super thin eyebrows and lots of us are still recovering from that trend. For a while now the trend has been to have the opposite: big thick, healthy brows, AND I AM HERE FOR IT. I want the bushiest brows, honestly the more boyish the better.
I want my brows to look good all the time, even without makeup on, and I'm sure you do too! So here’s my top 3 tricks that have helped me get thicker brows:
Get your eyebrows shaped monthly and LEAVE THEM ALONE IN BETWEEN appointments. I go in to get my eyebrows waxed once a month and in between appointments I let them grow as much as they want. I don’t tweeze at all, because I want them to get as fluffy as possible before my next appointment and then my esthetician will handle shaping and grooming them. They get thicker every month from this method alone.
Important: Make sure you see the same esthetician each month (so that your eyebrows are always getting shaped the same way you like) and that you’re seeing someone you trust will do a good job. Be clear with them that you are trying to grow them out and that you want them as thick as possible.
Swipe some castor oil on them every night before bed. This is the one I use and it works WONDERS. They feel thick, healthy and super soft. Castor oil really promotes hair growth and it’s such an affordable and easy way to speed up the growing process.
Tip: Brush some castor oil on your eyelashes while you’re at it, you’ll also have thicker and longer lashes too!
Use brow gel daily. Even if you have the thickest of eyebrows, they aren’t living up to their full potential without brow gel! I do this every day even if I’m not wearing any other makeup because it is so easy and makes such a difference. Just swipe on the gel in short upward strokes to fluff up your eyebrows. The gel not only fluffs the brows, but also keeps them in place all day.
